Waymouth’s MB 752/1 (500 mL)

Waymouth’s MB 752/1 medium is a chemically defined medium developed by Charity Waymouth. It was originally used to study the nutrition, metabolism and growth characteristics of mouse L strain subcell line L929 cells under serum-free conditions. Waymouth’s MB 752/1 medium has now been expanded for the culture of whole organs and many other cell lines, such as cancer cell lines.
Waymouth’s MB 752/1 medium contains many kinds of amino acids, vitamins, inorganic salts and other ingredients for cell culture, but does not contain protein, lipids or any growth factors. Therefore, the product should be used with serum or serum-free additives.
