The FavorPrep™ Fungi Total RNA Extraction HE Mini Kit is an efficient tool to rapidly isolate high-purity, high-concentration total RNA from diverse fungal materials, including mycelia, sclerotia, spores, fruiting bodies, and mycorrhizae. The exclusive HE Column allows to enlarge sample input and reduce elution volume to obtain both higher eluted RNA concentration and yield. The Bead Tube effectively disrupts tough fungal structure, releasing nucleic acids for extraction. Optimized washing steps effectively eliminate contaminants, inhibitors, and salts, resulting in an excellent OD 260/280 and 260/230 ratio. The purified RNA is ideal for a wide range of downstream applications, such as gene expression by RT-qPCR, metabolic engineering, transcriptome, host-induced gene silencing, vaccine development.
