The FavorPrep™ Blood/Cultured Cells Total RNA Extraction Mini Kit is designed for purification of total RNA from cultured cells and fresh whole blood. For blood sample, RL buffer is used for optimal lysis of erythrocytes. Detergents and chaotropic salt are used to lyse cells and inactivate RNase. The purified RNA is suitable for various downstream applications.
